Found this little known gem along the highway between Bukit Indah and Taman Perling. It serves yummy Indonesian cuisine at a very reasonable price. We had the Nasi Gulai Ikan Kakwaa set for RM8 each. Added a fried chicken and 2 drinks. Heavenly! When you're done, just roll up your utensils in the paper and place it in the little tin bin provided. Ambiance is old school kopitiam and the staff are super friendly. Snacks, coffee mix and sauces are sold on the side. Opens every day, 9am to 5.30pm. Off days are uncertain, but it's usually open when I visit over the weekend. Parking is abundant.

Deliciously Authentic Malaysian Delights Restaurant Kakwaa is a gem for anyone craving authentic Malaysian flavors. I tried the Nasi Kak Wok, and it was a feast for both the eyes and taste buds. The vibrant presentation, with fresh herbs and a perfectly seasoned chicken, really stood out. The food portions are generous, and the flavors are deeply satisfying. The atmosphere is cozy and nostalgic, with classic kopitiam-style decor and marble tables, giving the place a warm, welcoming vibe. It’s perfect for both breakfast and lunch outings. Parking is also hassle-free with plenty of spaces available, both free and paid, making it convenient for diners. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy great food at an affordable price. This is a muslim food store selling a few kind of "nasi" and drinks with reasonable price. The place is clean and nice. The "nasi kerabu" is very delicious, and the "nasi kakwook"is full of curry sauce. Rice is served with the rice wrapping paper inside a steel cup. This is very special and interesting. And, the "teh tarik madu" is full with overflowed bubble on top and taste good with mild aroma. Must try~

The teh tarik madu is awesome! Food tastes nice with plenty of choices. Staff are friendly and welcoming. It’s more of a self-service style, you order at the counter and clear your own table by throwing food waste in the bin. Parking can be a bit limited, so come early if you can

Delicious and authentic Kelantanese food. Big portions and flavourful. The presentation of food was also unique. The teh tarik madu beverage was unique and not as sweet I expected it to be, which is good as the flavour of the tea was noticeable. The restaurant interior is classic kopitiam style and decoration is beautiful. A good venue for breakfast and lunch. Highly recommended.

I had Nasi Ayam belado. Definitely correct spicy level. It got me sweating - the way I love it. Prices are reasonable. I certainly love the nostalgic atmosphere with marble table tops and wooden chairs. The green teh tarik is new to me and loving it . Mi Soto for MYR7 was undeniably worth it- in terms of quantity and taste lah.
